What is Dele?

Dele is a Nigerian app for requesting rides in Lagos. It also has a Naira wallet, savings goals and a marketplace.

Dele is published on the Apple App Store by J&B Enterprise LLC and also runs in a web browser at dele.cx.

Dele is new. Ride requests are open in Lagos, but the driver network is still being built, so a driver may not be available when you ask for a ride.

How it works for riders

  1. Create a free account in the iPhone app or on dele.cx.
  2. Enter your pickup and destination in Lagos and choose a ride type such as Economy or Comfort.
  3. See a fare estimate before you request the ride.

How it works for drivers

  1. Sign up at dele.cx/driver-signup.
  2. Upload your driver licence, vehicle papers, insurance and National ID (NIN) for verification.
  3. Once approved, go online to receive ride requests. Drivers receive 90% of each fare and Dele keeps 10%, paid into the driver Dele Wallet.
